The Back Story

The Aftermath of the Caldera: Following the devastating conflict at the Shardfall Caldera, the Aurelian Republic secured a crushing victory over the Barcan Concord. Under the cold, analytical command of Scipio, the Republic forces locked down the Nexus Control Spire. The Republic has spent the brutal winter systematically extracting and refining the trans-dimensional energy of the Aetherium, imposing their strict order over the desolate moon of Xylos-7.

The Counterstrike: The Barcan Concord is battered, not broken. Commander Hannibal, a visionary who views Aetherium as a wild and living force, refuses to let the Republic “sanitize” the cosmos’s greatest gift. Operating from the shadows, Hannibal’s frontier warriors and Storm Weavers have regrouped. They are launching a massive, chaotic spring offensive. Their mission is not to capture the Spire, but to sabotage the Republic’s supply lines, hijack their refined Aetherium shipments, and plunge Xylos-7 back into the fires of war.

Will the Republic hold their iron-fisted grip on the Aetherium lode, or will the Concord shatter their defenses and reclaim the untamed power of the Nexus? The war for destiny continues.

The Factions

Team 1: The Barcan ConcordTeam 2: The Aurelian Republic
Ideology: The Concord is a coalition of frontier worlds, rogue states, and warrior clans, united by the charismatic and visionary Hannibal. They believe that Aetherium is a wild, living force—a gift from the cosmos that should be embraced in its raw, untamed form. They see the Republic’s methods of refining and “sanitizing” Aetherium as a sacrilege that weakens its true potential. Their philosophy is one of passion, strength, and survival of the fittest. They are fierce, unpredictable, and masters of asymmetric warfare.

Aesthetics: Rugged and powerful. Armor is often adorned with tribal markings and trophies of past victories. Their weapons crackle with unstable energy, and their “mages,” known as Storm-Weavers, call down raw elemental fury. Their color scheme is earth tones, deep reds, and black.

Commander: Hannibal. A tactical genius whose brilliance is matched only by his ferocity. He is revered by his followers as a prophet-warrior. He believes that order breeds weakness and that only through chaos and conflict can true strength be forged. He is a master of the unexpected, using unorthodox strategies to keep his enemies constantly off-balance.
Ideology: The Republic is the heir to the old Terran government—a vast, disciplined, and technologically advanced civilization. They believe in order, logic, and the steady march of progress. To them, Aetherium is a natural resource like any other: a dangerous element to be studied, refined, harnessed, and controlled for the betterment of society. They view the Concord as chaotic, superstitious savages who threaten the stability of the galaxy.

Aesthetics: Sleek, clean, and efficient. Their soldiers are clad in polished black and navy blue armor, carrying precision energy rifles. Their psionic specialists, known as Legates, wield Aetherium with surgical precision, creating flawless energy shields and focused kinetic blasts. Their color scheme is black, dark blue, and chrome, with cool-blue energy signatures.

Commander: Scipio. A brilliant strategist and a student of military history. Where Hannibal is a force of nature, Scipio is a master chess player, always thinking five moves ahead. He is calm, analytical, and utterly ruthless in his pursuit of victory. He believes that superior strategy, discipline, and technology will always triumph over brute force and fanaticism.

⚠️Faction Assignments & Squad Deployment ⚠️

The war for Xylos-7 requires balanced forces! To prevent one side from overwhelming the other, Command Staff will assign all registered players to either the Aurelian Republic or the Barcan Concord prior to the event.

How to stay with your squad:

  • Buy Together, Fight Together: If you want to guarantee that you and your friends are on the same faction, one person must purchase all the entries in a single transaction.
  • The Guarantee: We guarantee that all players registered under the exact same order number will be deployed side-by-side.

Individual Purchases: If you and your friends buy your tickets separately, we cannot guarantee you will be placed on the same team. Plan ahead and designate a squad leader to buy the tickets!

Choose your side, soldier. Will you fight for the untamed fury of the Concord, or the unyielding order of the Republic?
